  • Following reports of numerous road deaths observed during the breeding season (from the end of January to the beginning of March), the Administration of Nature and Forests puts any volunteer wishing to carry out an amphibian rescue operation in touch with the natur&ëmwelt association. Once you are a member of the association, you will be provided with the equipment to carry out the rescue actions as well as an insurance.

  • This layer contains all establishments (here generally referenced as "POI") that are listed in the national commercial cadastre ("Cadastre du commerce" and are regularly updated there. This Layer provides a complete overview of all retail and Horeca businesses and, with some restrictions, all service businesses. In the present layer, the establishments are presented differentiated according to their respective main industry ("branche principale" (fr)).

  • This map shows the built and functional amphibian culverts in the country. These are permanent structures that allow amphibians to safely cross a road to reach their breeding grounds (aquatic environments / still waters). During their breeding season (mid-February to mid-April), thousands of amphibians cross roads in numerous waves of migration. These roads, which were once deadly crossing points, are now adapted to the migratory flows of amphibians.

  • This layer contains all classic retail stores (herein generally referenced as "POI"), which are listed in the national retail cadastre and are regularly updated there. In this layer, the retail stores are differentiated according to their respective form of operation (specialty store; supermarket, etc.).
